Twelve invoices were handed to the AI with a request written in plain language. The table was done in seconds. And it came back with a remark nobody had asked for: the total was wrong.

Two files had different names and held the same invoice, under the same number. The gap was worth 1,416 euros. Both lines were left in place and flagged, so that a human would decide.

Two different file names. Twelve lines. To the eye, nothing to report. It was the contents that gave them away, and nobody compares contents.

The experiment is repeated step by step in chapter 4.4.

Sylvère, and why this handbook exists

My name is Sylvère and I live in Cotonou. I am a scattered sort of person: the moment an idea crosses my mind, I want to test it, prototype it, see what it gives.

For a long time, it never went further than that. Every idea needed a whole team, skills I did not have, logistics, people to coordinate. Just to try. Most of my ideas died right there.

AI tore that wall down. I used it to stand in for those teams, and my timelines collapsed. The more I used it, the further I went into technical fields I would never have dared tackle alone. It was measuring what I had nearly missed that made me write this handbook.

This is not an expert's course. It is the roadmap of my own learning, tidied up. My only ambition is to make it readable by the least technical among us, so that they too get their chance in the age of AI.

I've never used AI. Is it really for me?+
Yes. It's written precisely for you. We start from zero: what AI is, how to talk to it, which tool for which need. No technical background, no jargon.
What will I actually use it for?+
To write faster, create images and videos, design visuals and build your own tools. Useful at work, for your studies, for your projects or for launching a business.
Can I buy it for my child?+
Yes, with one condition: access is nominative, it stays attached to the account that paid and cannot be transferred from one account to another. The simplest way is to create the account with their email address, then buy from that account: they then read on their phone or computer, with no time limit, with their own progress. What does the free sample include?+

Can I download the handbook, as a PDF for instance?+
No. The handbook is read online, in your reader, on a computer as well as on a phone: there is no PDF, no EPUB and no offline version. The working files that come with it can be downloaded: two compressed folders, the demonstration folder for Part IV and the deliverables of the Part V recipes. The logbook and the troubleshooting page are displayed online.
Do I need anything else to follow the handbook?+
The handbook is a one-off payment, with no subscription. The tools you'll be driving, though, have their own accounts: a paid Claude account (Pro plan or higher) for Design and Code, and a Higgsfield account for images and videos. Those subscriptions are billed by those services, independently of the handbook. Part 0 details everything you need before you start.
How do I pay? Is Mobile Money accepted?+
Payment is by bank card (Visa or Mastercard), from any country, in one single payment of €40, which is about 26,500 CFA: Stripe does the conversion, with conversion fees on top, and the exact amount is shown before you confirm. MTN Mobile Money, planned for Benin only, is not open for now and no date has been announced: if you would rather wait for it, the first 8 chapters stay readable with no account and no email address.
Do I get an invoice? What shows on my statement?+
For bank card payments, Stripe collects the money as merchant of record: it issues the invoice and the receipt, and your bank statement shows a wording such as "LINK.COM*", not the publisher's name. For MTN Mobile Money, the sale is made directly with GLOBAL CONSULTING TECHNOLOGY: no Stripe invoice is issued, ask for one at contact@atelieriacomplet.com.
What if the handbook isn't right for me?+
